マレーシアのジョホールへの不動産投資と高速の開通

マレーシアの首都のKL（クアラルンプール）やペナンへの不動産投資も盛んですが、シンガポールのお隣のJB（ジョホールバル）もシンガポールがあまりにも高すぎ、将来的に高速鉄道でシンガポールやKLなどと繋がる計画だけでなく、地下鉄もできる計画があるため、香港と中国のシンセンの関係をそのまま当てはめて、結構投資をしている人がおおいそうな。

MM2H（マイマレーシアセカンドホームプラン）なども10年間の長期滞在ビザがもらえたりするので、永住権とまでは行かなくともかなり敷居が低いのも事実です。で、昨日、はじめて、4月1日に開通したシンガポールのウッドランドからジョホールバルのイミグレを抜けて、すぐの高速を走ったんですが、今は無料でムチャクチャ快適でした。マレーシアの南北線の高速にそのまま直結しているだけでなく、JBの中心部にも簡単にアクセスできるんです。まぁ、セカンドリンクの方がもっともっと快適ですが・・・・。

JOHOR BARU - The controversial Eastern Dispersal Link (EDL) is finally open to users starting today and motorists will not have to pay toll as yet.

Malaysian Highway Authority director-general Datuk Ismail Md Salleh said no toll would be charged for now as the Government was still finalising the details.

"The toll, however, will be put in place once the mode of payment is finalised," he said in a statement.

He said the EDL would significantly cut travelling time by more than half an hour for motorists heading to the city centre.

It was previously reported that the 8.1km link built by Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd would force motorists travelling to Singapore via the Johor Causeway to pay about five times more than the present rate of RM2.90 (S$1.18)
